Training Details

Why this Teacher Training?

Since 2015, numerous individuals have approached me to lead Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Australia. However, I never considered it while Bikram was actively conducting his successful teacher training. After his last training in 2019, there was not another for over three years. Despite this, Bikram Yoga continued to thrive, and the demand for teachers remained high, especially with the significant disruptions caused by COVID-19.

In 2021, after encouragement from my teacher Dev Kapil, I finally consented to conduct teacher training alongside him, and we have successfully run these programs since February 2022. Our trainees have travelled from as far as Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Norway, and Luxembourg as well as locally from every state in Australia

We strive to maintain the integrity of the original Bikram Teacher Training with only intentional or unavoidable differences.

Our Goal

Our objective is to cultivate Bikram Yoga instructors who are well-versed in the Bikram Yoga tradition. Graduates will possess proficiency in the Bikram Yoga dialogue and a solid comprehension of the physical aspects of the practice. During the 9-week immersion, trainees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the transformative healing benefits that this remarkable yoga can provide. Upon completion, graduates will have conducted at least three 90-minute public Bikram Yoga classes.

Our training program is accredited by Yoga Alliance, and those who successfully complete the course, do so with a 300-hour certification.
